Be like a child

When a child is born, he/she does not know where she/he is born, how she/he will be taken care of ? A child is unaware of his surroundings and people, she/he does not know whether she /he is born in a rich family or a poor one ? He/she is totally ignorant about the way he/she is going to grow up? A child is always happy and satisfied as long as he/she gets his/her food and sleep in her/his mother's lap.A child does not judge, whoever shows love he/she accepts them. If a child from a very rich family is stolen and brought in a very poor family , it does not make any difference to her/him and the child adapts herself/himself to the surroundings very easily.

So friends our mind should always be like a child who never judges and be happy with whatever we get in life. As we grow our body and mind grows according to the situations and the surroundings. The difficulty level increases. The external attractions and need for more starts creeping and the mind is no more under our control. The body desires so many things and we are always trying to satisfy the desires of our body.

Meditate and keep your mind under your control. Think as a child who is unaware of all the negativity, who is just born, far away from the touch of greed, hatred, confusion,
competition,frustration, power, lust.

Stay calm, stay blessed!!! A great day to all of you :)

Changing times...

Everyday I see the birds returning to their nests in the dusk. I feel so happy and at peace. This is natural, the nature was always like this. But in the long run, we humans have evolved and changed our living habits. This is the age of global revolution. Technologically and socially we have come a long long way from nomads to cave dwellers of the past....to the very wise and cultured and civilised humans of the present day, where we think we have the best of everything that life can provide us with...with all the happiness and comfort. We have made revolutions in so many fields..eradicated so many dangerous diseases but still we are very far away from being civilised and humanitarian. As peace and tranquillity is loosing their meaning so fast. People were dividing themselves in the name of caste, creed, religion and now they are in the name of money, power and social credibility.

The crisis that the world today is facing now is going to be more aggravated and will be the foremost in the coming future. People will divide themselves for money, power and social status. The values of society will be questioned. And will be questioned in the name of freedom...freedom of speech, freedom to do what you desire, freedom from the bondages of old social values created from generations. People are already questioning, especially the younger generations. They need more freedom than ever. The generation gap is reducing fast.Things are changing too fast, new ideas, new thoughts, new life. They are no more attached to the values given by their parents and grand parents. And this gap is creating confusion and resentment.

In the coming future, a new world will emerge and the trend is on. Money will overpower all the other values. Every thing we see around us now is controlled by money . And more the money more power in the hands. Power will divide people from their family and country. Death will no longer be a grief but a celebration...celebration of win or defeat. People will mourn not with grief but with anger and revenge. War will be inevitable if this continues.

This trend is not at all good for our world. It has to stop somewhere. War was never good for humanity, it only divides and its always a defeat. Nobody wins. At some point we have to think and make this world a better place to live in.

A tribute...

One more day....one more death. People face this everyday somewhere sometime. But when it reaches you, your heart breaks. Death is inevitable, no one has ever defeated it. When it comes, it takes away your joys and sorrows. There is nothing left . Yesterday again it reached me..through my uncle's death. We use to call him Saila mama. I had already prepared myself for it long time back because he was not doing well. Doctors have told the family.

Nothing remains but the memories here and there. I remembered the roads of Jorethang, a small place in Sikkim where we use to go every winter on our winter holidays. There is my grand father's house. We use to visit the house every winter with my mom. And there we met our uncles. This uncle was always smiling and cracking jokes. Me and my sister use to hang on his hands and ask for money to buy sweets and snacks. Not that we were hungry but it was just pure fun. He always showed us his empty pockets but sometimes he use to give up and give us money after a lot of pestering.

Yesterday once again I came close to death, and thought about it. But as time passes, we all get adjusted to our world. We get ajusted to sadness, lonliness, being away from the family etc etc...Human beings are the greatest creation among all the living creations...they are gifted with emotions that helps them to face life. We have enormous strength to overcome any kind of disaster, unhappiness. We have strength to face death and overcome it. Our near and dear ones die and we feel so helpless but still we cope up with it and continue our lives.

I don't know what happens after death, but let his soul rest in peace wherever he may be. We will always miss you and you will always remain in our hearts.

Perspective of life

In this world every person has their own perspective towards life. He/she conducts his/her life according to his/her perspective. Today's life is moving too fast, people are striving too hard to cope up with time & pace. And with this fast & ever changing world, people's perspective towards life is also changing fast. Earning more and living luxuriously has become the 'mool mantra' (main objective) of life. People want comfort zones in their lives where they can lead a happy & 'do not disturb me' lives. They are satisfied and happy when they get "things" what they want; as simple as that. In today's world happiness is all about money. Most of them think & say words according to the perspective of money in their minds. They cannot even think that a person can be happy & satisfied with what he/she has. He/she can never become a successful man/woman if they haven't got enough bank balance.
This perspective of life is so strange..a vendor selling vegetables, a maid working for hours to earn a living, a self made business man, a tycoon..each & everyone has gone through different phases of life and have their own perspective towards life. They have their own ideas & thoughts. People should respect each other's views and do not try to impose on others. My son once said " A car is not a bench mark of success in life". People have to earn but how you behave & carry your life forward is the main thing.

Its time one should understand that money & fame not always bring happiness. The people who think so are deluded by their wrong thoughts in their mind. You will get the real happiness when you will find your true self. Your true self is never deluded, its pure to the core. The true self 'was' 'is ' and 'will' be always pure & content but we try to cover it with gold & silver. It never helps your soul because your soul is a free bird...let it fly, do not try to trap it in a golden cage with things that it never needs. Its a guest who is here for a few days keep it happy.
